QDS offers a reliable, cost effective range of quality Domestic, International and Cross-border courier services.

Overnight Express

A speedy, secure and reliable overnight courier service for shipments requiring delivery before 11h00 the next working day, to certain major centres in South Africa. Delivery to regional or remote areas may take an additional 24 - 48 hours.

Daybreak Delivery

A special service for shipments requiring delivery before 09h00 the next working day to certain major centres in South Africa. Delivery to regional or remote areas may take an additional 24 - 48 hours.

Normal Cargo

This service is designed for shipments that may not require the same level of urgency as the express products. Delivery is made within 24-48 hours, depending on the origin and destination, to certain major centres in South Africa. Delivery to regional or remote areas may take an additional 24 - 48 hours.

Budget Freight

This safe, secure and reliable service is for larger, non-urgent shipments. Deliveries vary between 24 - 72 hours, depending on the origin and destination. Delivery to regional or remote areas may take an additional 24 - 48 hours.

International Courier Services

This is a door–to-door service for sensitive documents or non-documents/dutiable commodities. A commercial invoice or other relevant documentation must accompany the booking.

International Airfreight Service

Door–to–door airfreight service for your larger dutiable or commercial value consignments of 30kg’s upwards. A commercial invoice and / or any other relevant documentation must accompany non-documents/ dutiable consignments.

Global Mailing

A fast and reliable international service for the posting of bulk mail, i.e. letters, brochures, annual reports and non-documents to international destinations. A personalized service operated by dedicated staff that will collect, sort and frank your international mail.


The In-City service is a rapid door-to-door service, providing across town deliveries. This service is available in major centres and is offered according to your specifications and service requirements:

Consignments collected will be delivered on an overnight basis, or
Consignments collected in the morning and delivered that same day.

Saturday Collection/Delivery

QDS offers a Saturday collection and delivery service. A surcharge will apply for collection or delivery on Saturday between 07h00 – 13h00. N.B. The surcharge will also apply for attempted collections / deliveries. A surcharge will apply for collection or delivery outside normal office hours.

Additional Services

In a quest to provide a total solution for all your freight requirements, QDS also offer a brokerage facility. Due to the adhoc nature of this type of business, please contact QDS who will provide an individualized quotation per consignment.
QDS offers a warehousing facility where shipments are stored for a "pick and pack" environment. This gives our clients the additional peace of mind that their goods are monitored daily with a monthly report on what has been sent or entered the facility.

Meet Our Directors

QDS was formed by Jacques de Beer in 2001. Jacques and Joseph bring with them a wealth of industry experience. They have created a company which offers superior service with the promise that you, the customer, are indeed placed first.

With over 25 years experience in the courier industry Jacques has a wealth of knowledge and experience. His motto has and always will be "The Customer Is Always King".
